Please note: The home where residential positions are located is approximately 1 hour from St. Louis. The residential home is in northwest Jefferson County. The largest city near it is House Springs. The exact location is undisclosed due to the confidentiality of the clients.

Life Skills Coordinator - Youth Development Professional II
Primary Objective: The Life Skills Coordinator is responsible for implementing the overall The Covering House Life Skills Program. The Life Skills Coordinator conducts basic life skills groups daily to help youth develop skills for independent living. The Life Skills Coordinator provides a consistent, safe, and therapeutic environment for sexually exploited/trafficked girls. This position is responsible for identifying and meeting the everyday needs of girls, including housekeeping, food, shelter, security, personal hygiene, and health services. Grant Writer and Development Coordinator
Primary Objective: Working closely with the Director of Development, the Development Coordinator supports overall development efforts primarily through grant writing, database management, and development administrative work. The Grant Writer and Development Coordinator will develop an understanding of the issues of sex trafficking and exploitation and the specific needs and programs of The Covering House in order to communicate them with current and potential funders.
